LOCATION
Hohenneuffen Castle cannot be reached directly by car. However, you can park your car at the foot of the castle in the hikers’ parking lot or take a cab there.
A shuttle will then pick you up at the beginning of our celebration and transport you to the castle. Alternatively, you can of course make the beautiful 15-minute climb to the castle on foot.
TIMETABLE
Our celebration will take place on Thursday, 16.05.2024 at Hohenneuffen Castle.
The exact schedule has not yet been finalized in detail and will be added here in the coming weeks and days. However, we can already share the following plans with you:

Round off the evening in style with us!
Our shuttle will take you back to the hiking parking lot at regular intervals when you feel like turning in.

The celebration will take place on 16.05.2024 at Hoheneuffen Castle and will begin at 3.00 pm. You can find more information about the schedule under the section “TIMETABLE” on this page.
The best description for the dress code would probably be “smart casual”.
However, the most important thing to us is having a good time and everybody enjoying themselves. If the weather is good, we’ll spend quite some time outside, so don’t forget to pack a jacket!
The castle is difficult to reach by public transport. We therefore recommend traveling by car or cab from the hotel or the nearest town. You can find more information in the section “LOCATION” on this page.
In contrast to many other countries, Uber is not widely available in Germany. Therefore we recommend downloading the FREENOW app, which will let you book a taxi anywhere in Germany. Alternatively, the number of the local taxi service in Nürtingen is +497022 407207
We have reserved a room contingent for the Hotel Vetter in Nürtingen. You can find more information in the section “ACCOMMODATION” on this page. Of course, you are free to look for alternative accommodation.
We will, of course, cover the full cost of catering and entertainment during the event. We ask for your understanding that we cannot cover the travel costs. We are also unable to cover the cost of accommodation. Exceptions will be made for guests with long and cost-intensive journeys, e.g. from the USA. For these guests, we will cover one night at the Hotel Vetter.
Of course, you can take the opportunity to spend, for example, the weekend in beautiful Baden-Württemberg. If you would like to spend more than one night at the Hotel Vetter, simply get in touch with our team. We will be happy to arrange a longer stay for you.
There are beautiful hiking and cycling trails around the castle. A trip to the vineyards is also well worthwhile.
The castle itself is surrounded by several paragliding take-off and landing sites. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can book a tandem paragliding jump. If you want to spend more time in the area, our team will be happy to help you with further tips for leisure activities.
