Emesent’s Hovermap solution shows its strength, when difficult-to-reach terrain is involved. Mounted on a drone, the smart mobile mapping solution autonomously scans the area. It acts as a virtual safety bubble around the drone to prevent collisions and can detect and avoid obstacles such as towers, fences, trees, people and the like. Instead of GPS it uses LiDAR data and advanced algorithms on-board in real-time. Thus providing reliable and accurate localisation and navigation without the need for GPS. This allows drones to fly autonomously in GPS-denied environments, enabling a variety of new applications such as flying and mapping in underground mines, inside warehouses or inspecting underneath bridges.

Our Origins Software offers the perfect workflow to process and visualize the data you’ve captured with the Hovermap Solution. It is perfectly designed to process large amounts of data quickly.
Thanks to our ortho photo approach, you automatically get a front-, top- and side view from the point cloud and thus a great overview of your data. Measurement like distances and volumes can be taken with just a few clicks, as well as layouts and sections.
